Is it ALWAYS wrong to call an idiot an 'IDIOT'?!
by nicolaou in.
i mean c'mon, don't you just wish you could.. .

well, maybe you need to explain what exactly did the "idiot" do be to called an idiot. If you actually try and explain to them what they did wrong, that person can actually have an opportunity to learn and adjust themselves, for their own good and your good. You must also realise that calling someone an idiot is also a sign of your own frustration of not knowing how to handle the matter better. Its like calling a child "stupid" it only hurts them without really helping the matter. My 2 cents worth for today :-)

Some Men in Power get there kicks asking personal questions so they can hear some ‘juicy’ story from young girls or women, they don’t count on the emotional harm they are doing to her. So if they start to ask questions about your personal life and morals, don’t be too afraid to say “that’s none of your business”. And getting a tape recorder or a pocket MP3 player with record functions isn’t a bad idea. It won’t help any, but just for your own keep.

I had the same problem.
I don’t think it’s a virus, I think it’s a trogen. You downloaded it, thinking it was something else and you think it didn’t work, but it did! Its imbedded in your system, with me it disabled the system in such a way that I couldn’t install any Anti-ware programs or Anti-virus. Also my computer was running hopelessly slow.
All you can do is re-format and install a flesh copy of Windows.
You should have the Hard Drive partitioned with a C and D drive, C drive will store all your system and programs files and D Drive will store all your data files, and any mass storage.
Then you make an Image of C drive and if it happens again you simpley re-install the C drive image, that’s what I had to do, I was lucky enough to have had a C drive image in my backup.

Well it seems you married for the wrong reason, firstly, you married too young and secondly it was a marriage of convenience, his convenience!
I would never let my stepdaughter (yes, I am also a stepdad) marry someone who’s being in trouble for drugs just so the law will go easier on him, if he can’t help himself and keep away from him, I’m sure he must’ve given you grief all though your marriage.
Also I wouldn’t keep things hidden from the mother either, times like this both parents have the right to know whats happening to there daughter.
So many times we learn the hard way.

Questions about the Jehovah's Witness beliefs.
by Renegade infirst off, (these are in no particular order) i would like to make a point about the ransom.
jesus made a prayer to jehovah saying "take this cup away from me.
" the witnesses interpret this as jesus not wanting to blaspheme jehovah's name.

Firstly, I'll make a comment about the WTS, they always try to have an answer for everything, and because of this have got themselves in all sorts of bother many times.
They claim that Jesus didn’t want to blaspheme only to satisfy the many with weak beliefs because they can’t see that Jesus was still just a fleshly man who felt pain and wasn’t looking forward to the pain, suffering and death that he knew he must go threw with, it was after all the reason why he come to the world, to die and give his life as a ransom for us.
The changing of the languages is something that is not fully explained in the bible, after all it’s only a short account, it was explained once that God would not tolerate an organized rebellion against him, but who knows. As far as us being "pathetic, emotionally incapable morons" please speak for yourself. They were making a tower that they believed would reach the heavens, those days they believed that the sky was reachable, like a roof, so by building a tower to reach the top they could reach God and be like him, so how can you say that building this tower would prove the"Almighty" wrong.

The JW's need to see that there are good people in 'satans' world, good people who are ready to help others, they don't have to read the WT, not even the bible, its a naturall goodness that people have.

What about your JW past are you thankful for?
by nvrgnbk inin the interest of self-healing and finding the peace that comes from being grateful, can you think of anything at all that was positive about having been one of jehovah's witnesses?.
not to be misunderstood with missing something about it, is there something about the experience that has enriched you?.
to answer the question myself, being forced to face the fallacies of the teachings of jwism, i was also prompted to look past those teachings and reevaluate everything i believed in.. that experience was frightening and unsettling, but i'm thankful for it.. i now have a greater appreciation for life in all its wonder than i did when i took it for granted as one of jehovah's witnesses.. i'm more determined now to find meaning in this life, after having lived for so long for a future that was never to arrive..
